M2 Panels: Curved Panels

The EMMEDUE® single eco-friendly panel consists of a spatial steel lattice enclosing a core of expanded polystyrene which is then finished, on-site, with plaster.

A lightweight, Curved, sustainable SIP building system that offers unlimited possibilities

The SIP construction panel in its metal mesh sheath is supplied flat from our plant, making it easy to transport, and the required degree of curvature is determined and created on site using a specially designed pneumatic rolling machine.

The unique panel enables a builder to cover large surfaces quickly and efficiently and allows an architect unlimited freedom in designing a building’s outer shape. The curved surface also enhances a building’s air circulation, reducing potential humidity and improving thermal resistance.

Why use a curved SIP?

Our unique high-performance curved panel SIPs can be made to almost any size and allows large surfaces to be covered quickly and efficiently. The curved panels can be used for walls and other structural elements.

Thermal efficiency

The system eliminates thermal bridging and is structurally insulated, which helps to reduce energy consumption by limiting the amount of heating and cooling required in a home.

On-site in-situ casting

The system can be used in precast structures; onsite, in-situ cast structures; and on-site, in-situ spray concrete, depending on your project and needs..

No cranes required

The panels inherent lightness means you can carry it on site by hand, so no cranes are required, saving you both time and money

Easy to handle with on-site tools

The system is easy to build using on-site tools, including apposite adjustable metal supports and aluminium bars or more traditional building site materials such as wooden boards or square timbers. To ensure static continuity to the structure the panels are connected to the rebars and this can be carried out using suitable equipment or basic site tools such as pliers.

Make a difference and change the way you build today

We know you are under pressure to reduce construction costs and build time, while also building in a more sustainable way. Our building system will provide you with greater speed of construction, a lower carbon footprint and better value than traditional bricks and mortar, steel, or timber frames. So, why not change the way you build today?
